… as NAB boosts marketing and communications

Analisa Kirby, former general manager of product, marketing and communications at QIC, is to start next month as general manager, intermediary marketing, at National Australia Bank. She is joining another new hire, the Hong Kong-based former marketing and events manager for BNP Paribas, Michelle Toy.

Kirby held several senior marketing and sales roles at AMP Capital and AMP Financial Services, and before that at Henderson Global Investors – then an AMP subsidiary – prior to joining QIC in 2013. Based in Sydney, she left the Queensland Government-owned fund manager just prior to Christmas.

Her role at NAB includes marketing and communications for financial advisors and brokers. “I’m looking forward to joining the NAB team soon to help further strengthen the relationships between NAB and its brokers and advisers for the benefit of customers,” she said last week.

Michelle Toy became, as of last August, head of marketing and corporate affairs, international branches, based in Hong Kong. This includes China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, the UK and the US.

Prior to BNP Paribas, where she was head of marketing and communications, APAC, for two-and-a-half years, Toy was a marketing and events manager at State Street.

Meanwhile, Kirby’s former role at QIC is to be at least partially filled by Emma Hansford, who has worked at QIC in Brisbane since 2010. She has most recently been general manager, ‘office of the CEO’ for QIC.
