Insurer AIA Australia and fund administrator Pillar Administration have been confirmed as the major sponsors of this year’s Chant West Super Fund Awards, the presentation of which will take place at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on May 4.

The Awards are backed up by the Chant West analytical and advisory resources, which enable both a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the candidates in each of the12 categories. The media’s involvement, such as that by Investor Strategy News, is confined to promotion of the event.

Andrea West, Chant West co-founder and director, said: “Both AIA and Pillar have a history of working with superannuation funds to tailor solutions that focus on caring for members as individuals. This was a major attraction for us in deciding to partner with them for our awards evening, and we welcome their involvement.”

Stephanie Phillips, AIA Australia’s chief group insurance officer, said: “We are delighted to be teaming up again with Chant West to promote the superannuation awards and look forward to recognising those funds that are doing a great job for their members. We are fortunate to partner with several of these funds, helping to make a difference in the lives of members at their time of need.”

According to Pillar CEO, Peter Brook: “The Chant West Awards are unique in that they recognise the importance of member services. Pillar as an administration partner is committed to delivering the best possible member services and continuing our investment in technology and innovation to ensure that we continue to support funds in delivering on their promises to members.”
