Like many of us, sadly, over time, Rob has been affected by the suicide of friends and has decided to do his bit to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues, such as depression, which are often linked to suicide.
As well as Lifeline, the evening is being supported by SuperFriend, the body consisting of big super funds and their insurance companies, which not only works to raise awareness of mental illness in the workplace, but also looks to set standards of best practice in how the industry should deal with mental health issues.
