The conference, the first of its kind in the region, follows the new format of attendee participation through table discussions and open commentary in all sessions. It culminates in a gala dinner on April 30 with some of the proceeds going to the Shanghai charity for children with cerebral palsy, CereCare.

A central theme of the conference will be discussions about impediments to cross-border investing in the region and ways to circumvent or remove them.
